    yeah, true- i guess my point is to meet other sicilian speakers-- people with similar backgrounds or if anyone has been thru a similar experience

      oh, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying you wanted to learn italian. I don't know of any sicilian speakers in the Bay Area though there must be an organization or something out there....
      
      New York has lots of sicilians and neapolitans. I hear both spoken there regularly when I go for a visit....
