I would love to learn italian as well. I've tried teaching myself a bit in the past. I speak spanish somewhat already, and would love to learn several languages.... atleast one language a decade of my life is the plan.
If your interested, then I will give you my number, and get some books from the local library, and use the cd roms I've already got etc..... and we can practice.
Btw, I suggest reading Barry Farbers, "How to learn any language." It's amazing, and a non traditional but helpful approach at learning a language.
